A panel discussion on Goan Identity was held at the Institute Menezes Braganza on August 24 in Goa. The discussion was initiated by Prof Teotonio R de Souza of Lisbon.

In a move to combat child abuse the Goa police organised a two-day sensitisation training programme.

The MGP Goa candidates have withdrawn from the national elections.
