Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd (GPL) has decided to set up a soft gelatine capsule manufacturing plant in Goa and a research and development centre in Mumbai at capital expenditures amounting to Rs 19.40 crore and Rs 11.30 crore respectively.

PANAJI: Rudolf Schwartz, Founder of Indian Students Educational Aid Foundation donated nine Computers to three of its technical institutes. Three computers were installed at Keerti Vidyalaya Technical Institute, Siolim and another three installed at Bhumika Technical Institute, Palye, Pernem on 6 December.

It surveyed 100,000 people to find their favourite holiday spots, from Key Largo to Cairo, and compiled a list of their top 20 dream destinations. Neal Peres da Costa on the harpsichord
Canberra Times 7 Dec 1999. NEW NAME TO NOTE IN EARLY MUSIC

Neal Peres da Costa is not a name to trip over every day. As director of the early music group, Florilegium, he has been giving concerts in Sydney and is soon to arrive in Canberra as harpsichordist in Salut!'s Ode to Mr Henry Purcell.

The name Peres da Costa is of Portuguese origin,'' he explains. "My Indian parents were born in Goa, a Portuguese colony. I don't think I have a drop of Portuguese blood. I had greater opportunities than my parents, both of whom came from large families....." London-based, Peres da Costa lives in SE London in a little village called Nunhead which he says has a remarkable history...
