1 Nov. Evening Standard. Ma Goa. 244 Upper Richmond Road SW15
by Charles
Campion. A splendid family-run restaurant serving good, simple
Goan food. One of the most popular starters is the laconically
named Goan sausage, which are almost worth a visit in themselves.
Goan sausages are rich, meaty and seasoned with palm vinegar,
cinnamon and plenty of green chillies - a world away from the
British breakfast sausage. For a fuller review of the restaurant:

3 Nov. Scottish Daily Record. In recent years the Indian State
of Goa has become renowned as a destination for backpackers and
Keith Floyd shows what else it has to offer. He visits the state
capital Panjim - a port that specialises in fish dishes - and
with a mobile kitchen to hand he sets to work. Each day sees 500
boats disgorge around 60 tons of mackerel, sardines, red mullet,
crab and lobster. Judging by the size of his recipes, it looks
as if Floyd has taken on at least half of that haul. What follows
is a feast for the eyes as much as the mouth.

in his turban. Mendonca defends his reputation on the grounds
he has pleased customers for 33 years in the two locations in
which he has operated. Full text, 725 words at http://heraldsun.com.au/common/story_page/0,5478,3178613%255E2862,00.html
