| 15 Aug: By Eugene Correia. It was an enjoyable GOA Picnic/Goa World Day at the Coronation Park. At a rough estimate, there were 300 people. The kids and youth seemed to have enjoyed the most. The tug-of-war, water-balloon catch-up, youth football and trook for the elderly, jelly beans-and-spoon race for kids made up the fun part. Many waited for British Goan MP Keith Vaz to show up but he failed to do so because the person who was supposed to pick him and drive him to the picnic failed to turn up.
