Croydon: Anthony Fernandes: Trio plead their innocence in murder case 14 Nov: Croydon Advertiser. Two men and a 16-year-old boy have denied murdering lab technician Anthony Fernandes …Paul Maddix, 43, Darren Listen, 27, and the teen pleaded not guilty at the Old Bailey. Mr Fernandes was stabbed to death in his ground floor flat in Windmill Road, Broad Green, on July 28. The 46-year-old suffered a total of 26 stab wounds and cuts.
