4 Oct: The News of the World (UK). … There's a place where children are beaten, abused and left to survive in makeshift camps on rubbish dumps… While tourists sunbathe on Goa's famous white beaches, street children raid the restaurant bins for scraps of food and scavenge rubbish... Video: 3 drown as heavy rains lash Goa
3 Oct: 22:22 IST. Goa 365 via Navhind Times. Three drown and more than 25 houses collapsed in Canacona, one of the worst hit in the state during the heavy showers that Goa witnessed for the past several days. Floods declared state disaster 4 Oct: Navhind Times.
