Canada: Ken Pereira excels at different hockey

Canada: Jane Gomes charged in baby's death

14 Oct: Canadian Press. The case of a young couple charged with aggravated assault in the death of their baby daughter has been adjourned once again until next month. Ashiqur Rahman and Jane Gomes, both 23, made a brief appearance in a court in Halifax today before being remanded… Lawyer Peter Mancini, who is representing Gomes, said his client is holding up as well as can be expected…
Gomes and Rahman, originally from Bangladesh are former Acadia University students where they studied computer science.
