Wife of late Bartholomew Fernandes. Beloved mother of Fatima/Lambert, Anthony/Audrey,
Florie, Alcan/Audrey. Loving grandmother to Michelle, Mark, Christopher and Dominic.
Loving sister to Max/Ditosa Vaz.
Funeral on Friday 23 Oct. 10:30am at Our Lady and St Christopher, 32 High Street,
Cranford, TW5 9RG, followed by the burial at New Brentford Cemetery, Sutton Lane,
Hounslow. The reception will be at the BA Concorde Club, Crane Lodge Road, TW5

on 18th August 2009. Locomotive driver with K.U.R. & H and then E.A.R. &
H 1929-1956. Retired early on medical grounds after his train was derailed in
1954 as a result of a Mau Mau incident. He then opened the NEW EASTLEIGH BAR in
Nairobi, until he returned to his homeland in Goa in 1971. Now at House No.654,
Bodiem, P.O. Tivim, Bardez Goa, 403502, India. Mind and faculties still quite
sharp. He sends his greetings to any younger colleagues who may kindly remember
