Padma winners in Goa unite against 'excessive' mining

Judgement on Homosexuality affects Indian ethos

The Delhi High Court judgement decriminalizing homosexuality is of great concern and it would adversely affect the ethos in India since most of our values are shaped and nurtured by customs and religion, was the statement made by the association of Catholic doctors in Goa. Isle of Wight man found dead in Goa
1 Apr: Isle of Wight County Press ( UK ). John Matthews, 48, thought to be from Atherley Road , Shanklin, was on a 90-day backpacking trip, when he was found dead in the Indian state of Goa . It is believed Mr Matthews had been out celebrating his birthday, when his body was discovered. Full Text.
