3 Aug: Navhind Times. On Sunday, after the first novena Mass of patron St. Lawrence in Agacaim, the Asst. Parish Priest Fr. Mariano Travaso blessed the new wood carving of St Lawrence with holy water. The Parish Priest, Fr. Johnsie Colaco blessed it with the relic of the Saint. The 45 inches tall teak wood carving of St. Lawrence the Martyr (photo) was executed by Rosario Rodrigues. The statue will be kept in the Holy Rood Church, Swindon and is donated by Erasmo Gonsalves of Swindon (ex-Moita, Agacaim).
