Mother of Devon teenager killed in Goa admits fraud
19 Mar: BBC. The mother of Devon teenager Scarlett Keeling, who was murdered while on holiday in Goa, has pleaded guilty to benefit fraud. Fiona MacKeown, 44, admitted falsely claiming £19,000 income support between February 2005 and March 2008. MacKeown will be sentenced at a later date… 89 words.

Anand Kambli held guilty for UK national’s murder

Dr Amit Dias, secretary of the Dementia Society of Goa and lecturer at the Department of Preventive Medicine at the Goa Medical College received the prestigious Foundation Médéric Alzheimer and Alzheimer Disease International award for the best evidence based research on interventions for people with dementia. Scarlett Keeling murder trial delayed again
19 Mar. Guardian. In a move that will do little to improve India's reputation for protracted court cases, the judge ordered that Goa children's court would start hearing evidence on alternate afternoons from 5 April, further delaying the trial. Speaking outside court, the prosecutor SR Rivankar said he believed he had a strong case but that the trial could last for the rest of the year.
