Tiatr Theme to help ponder on one's faith
18 Apr. Times of India. The season of Lent sees Konkani dramatists take a departure from their usual themes and present instead religious dramas and musical operettas. This, besides being entertainment of a different nature, help audiences reflect on the passion of Christ and relevant issues. One such tiatr that has been playing out this season was Fr Nevel Gracias' 'Mhojea Somia and Mhojea Deva' (My Lord and My God). Gracias based his drama on the life of Blessed Joseph Vaz, patron of the archdiocese of Goa, who was instrumental in propagating the faith among the people of Sri Lanka.  click here
