Death: Braz Goes. (Nairobi)
7 August 2020: Sydney, Australia. BRAZ MARTINHO WALTER GOES (Ex UK & Kenya). Born 11th November 1948. Son of the late Gaspar and Bella Goes. A loving husband to Glafy and father to Mark, Ian and Gary. Father-in-law to Pam and Anne-Marie. Wonderful papa to Shawn, Claire and Chloe. Brother to Blasco, brother-in-law to Milla and Uncle to Melissa, Blasco Junior, Krystle and Laurence. A caring uncle to all of his nieces, nephews and an amazing friend to all. Vistara, SpiceJet all set for flights to Heathrow as slots to be given in coming weeks
11 Aug: CNBC TV 18. Vistara and SpiceJet are now officially all set to commence flights to the London Heathrow Airport as the two will be allotted slots at the airport in the coming weeks. While Vistara, the joint venture of Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, will be given the slot at the London Heathrow Airport from August 16, SpiceJet will have its slot from September 1, officials said… Vistara will operate UK 6101 flight from New Delhi and this will arrive at 06:55 hours in London. The full-service carrier will operate UK 6102 from London at 14:00 hours for New Delhi. Low-cost airline SpiceJet has received its slot to operate SG 091 from New Delhi to London and this is expected to arrive at 15:25 hours. The same aircraft will then depart from London as flight SG 092 at 17:25 hours for New Delhi… click here

Foreigner facing criminal charge wants to go home for work, court says no

An Austrian national, facing a criminal case for alleged involvement in a drug case, has been denied permission to travel to Austria, work there for seven months, and return… the 34-year-old requested that he be permitted to return to Austria as he has been offered employment as an event manager till December 2020. Goa Pro League and the match-fixing allegations in Indian football

Wintering in Goa: A Russian View
11 Aug: 4X4 Media (Russia). By Anastasia Kostyanova. … Despite the kitchen at our disposal, it is a real sacrilege to cook here as there are many restaurants. But here is the phrase we have prepared: "No spicy!" although it caused understanding smiles from local waiters and cooks, it never worked. Over time, by trial and error, we managed to find individual dishes to our taste and several shakes with not very spicy food… there were a lot of people like us in Arambol. The best way to add variety to the lazy everyday life of the season is to travel around Goa and the neighboring states … Many couples from Russia spend the winter in Arambol and it is easy for children to find company … according to local residents, Goa has a very mediocre relationship to real India… Sleeper bus is an absolutely unthinkable phenomenon for Russia, as well as for many developed countries of the world… 5340 words. click here
