Goa's Raja Sabha member of Parliament, Eduardo Faleiro, has sought concessions for expatriates, who wish to donate free computer equipment for schools in Goa.

Tylos Ferry, a Bahrain-based shipping company, is starting a ferry service linking Bombay and Kochi to the Gulf ports of Bahrain, Doha, Dubai and Muscat.

Victor Albuquerque plans to set up a 139-bed speciality hospital in Margao by June 2002. The "super-hospital" will provide services like cardiology, cardio-thoracic surgery, advanced trauma/orthopaedic care and gastroenterology. In the second phase the hospital will cater for medical tourism. "Overseas patients would be able to avail of economical medical package along with restful holiday in Goa."
