Emomali Sharifo-vich Rakhmononv, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, arrived in Goa on May 11 for a day's visit.

The Christian Art Museum is be moved from Rachol Seminary to the more accessible location of Old Goa.

The Commonwealth Secretariat London is holding a Conference in Goa, on Distance Education, in the first fortnight of July.

Ms Shilpa Caldeira is the first consular representative of the British High Commission in the new Goa office.

On Wed., the police on corruption charges arrested Mauvin Godinho, former power minister of Goa in the Congress government.
