Friends will be received at the Andrews Funeral Home at 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton L6T 5N9 from 2pm to 4pm and 5pm to 9pm on Friday, March 30. The funeral will be held at St. Marguerite D'Youville Church, 2490 Sandalwood Parkway East, Brampton L6R 3A4 on Saturday, March 31 at 10:30 am. For more than two years, Marie Eva Lourdes Mascarenhas has been the subject of a fitness to practise investigation by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)… Mascarenhas' legal team argued her free holistic treatments had improved the patients' quality of life and she was "highly respected" by GPs as well as her residents and families.
